Kathmandu, Nov 26: The CPN-Maoist has condemned the shooting of Nepali civilians by Indian border security force – Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) – at Bhantabari area of Sunsari district.
The armed Indian security forces entered Nepali territory and shot indiscriminately at locals on Wednesday morning sparking an outrage.
The CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya issued a statement demanding immediate investigation into the incident and arrangement made through the diplomatic channel for stern action against the guilty.
He further appealed for controlling the open border between Nepal and India to put an end to the violent activities in the border areas.
Chairman Baidya has also called for investigation into another incident in which four people including the agitators were killed during clashes between demonstrators and police force in Tarai/Madhes. RSS
